About the Ibanez GA35TCE Classical

The GA35TCE uses a thin classical body with a Venetian (rounded) cutaway, aimed at players who want easier upper-fret access and lighter weight than a full-depth traditional classical guitar. The top is laminated spruce with fan bracing over mahogany back and sides, and the mahogany neck joins the body at the 14th fret with a 21-fret rosewood fingerboard carrying offset abalone dot markers - a departure from the plain, unmarked fingerboards typical of classical guitars, aimed at players used to steel-string or electric fret markers. At 46mm, the nut is narrower than a traditional classical guitar's 52mm.

Electronics are an Ibanez under-saddle pickup paired with an AEQ210T preamp offering both balanced XLR and standard 1/4-inch outputs, plus onboard tuner and volume/treble/bass controls - a setup aimed squarely at stage and studio use.

Sound character of the Ibanez GA35TCE Classical

The laminated spruce top doesn't move as freely as solid wood, trading some overtone complexity for durability and stage reliability, while the fan-braced mahogany back and sides add warmth and darken the tone compared to rosewood - the narrower 46mm nut and Venetian cutaway mark it as a crossover-friendly stage instrument rather than a traditional concert classical.
