Privacy Policy
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website within the meaning of the GDPR is:
Marcel Wittmann, Premium Art Design Marcel Wittmann, Proß 43, 95336 Kulmbach, Germany, email: info@premium-art-design.com
2. General information on data processing
We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website and our content and services. Processing generally takes place either with the user's consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) or where necessary to safeguard our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), e.g. for the technical operation of the site.
3. Hosting and server log files
When you visit this website, our hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits, including IP address, date and time of the request, browser type/version, operating system and referrer URL. This data is evaluated solely to ensure reliable operation and to improve our offering (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Our hosting provider is STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany.
4. Cookies
We distinguish between strictly necessary and non-necessary cookies. Necessary cookies (e.g. to remember your language or your cookie choice) are set without consent, as certain functions of the site could not be provided otherwise (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Non-necessary cookies (e.g. for advertising, web analytics and affiliate tracking, see sections 5, 6 and 7) are only set with your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can grant, decline or withdraw at any time via the cookie banner or the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
To obtain, manage and document your cookie consent, we use the consent management platform of consentmanager GmbH, Eppendorfer Weg 183, 20253 Hamburg, Germany. This sets strictly necessary cookies (e.g. to store your consent decision) on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. For further information, see consentmanager's privacy policy (https://www.consentmanager.net/privacy-policy/).
5. Google AdSense
Provided you have consented to non-necessary cookies, this site may use the advertising service Google AdSense, operated by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google AdSense uses cookies or comparable technologies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites.
Data collected via Google AdSense (including IP address, ads shown, clicks) may be transferred to and processed in the USA or other third countries by Google. See Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com), where you can disable personalized advertising.
If a Google AdSense account is active, the above notes apply accordingly; for further details please refer to Google's privacy policy.
6. Google Analytics
Provided you have consented to non-necessary cookies, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies or comparable technologies that allow an analysis of your use of this website (e.g. pages visited, time spent, traffic source, device type).
We use Google Analytics in so-called consent mode: without your consent, only an anonymous, cookieless technical ping is sent to Google (without storing personal identifiers); only with your consent are cookies set and a more detailed analysis enabled. Data collected via Google Analytics may be transferred to and processed in the USA or other third countries by Google. See Google's privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and further information on Google Analytics (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245).
You can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
7. Affiliate links and partner programs
On individual instrument pages we link to listings on external marketplaces and trading platforms. Some of these are affiliate links: if you complete a transaction via such a link, we may receive a commission from the respective provider at no additional cost to you. Clicking an affiliate link may cause the respective partner to process technical information (e.g. IP address, click timestamp) for billing purposes, subject to that partner program's own privacy policy.
8. Instrument price estimate and search
The "Browse Instruments" filter and the "Estimate My Instrument" price tool evaluate your input exclusively on our server against our own database to display results. No contact details such as email addresses are collected, and no input is shared with third parties. Your search input may be briefly logged as part of general server log files (see section 3), like any other page request.
In addition, we permanently store the plain search input (free text or selected instrument/year) and the number of matches in a technical log file, to identify recurring search terms and gaps in our catalogue. This logging does not include an IP address, cookie, session or device identifier, or any other link to your person; we are unable to trace individual users from it (no personal data within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 1 GDPR).
The displayed price range is an automated, non-binding estimate with no guarantee of accuracy and does not replace a professional appraisal.
The guide ("Ratgeber") search likewise permanently stores your search input and the number of matches in its own technical log file, following the same principles as above: no IP address, cookie, session or device identifier, or any other link to your person. This data is used solely to identify recurring topic requests and to expand our guide content accordingly.
9. Embedded content and external links
This website deliberately avoids loading external fonts (e.g. Google Fonts) and other unnecessary third-party embeds, to avoid transmitting your IP address to third parties on a plain page visit. Links to external marketplaces and sources are marked accordingly; the respective operator is responsible for their content and data processing.
10. Retention period
Unless a more specific retention period is stated above, personal data is only stored for as long as necessary for the respective purpose, or until you withdraw a given consent. Server log files are automatically deleted after a short period unless a security incident requires longer retention.
11. Your rights as a data subject
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR) of your personal data. You may withdraw any consent given at any time with future effect, e.g. via the cookie settings in the footer.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding our processing of your personal data.
For requests regarding your rights, please contact the address given in the legal notice.
12. No automated decision-making
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. The displayed price estimate is an informational display, not an automated decision with legal effect.
13. Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to reflect changes to our services. The new policy will then apply to your next visit.
