Casio's flagship slimline digital piano, packing an 88-key hammer action and multi-dimensional morphing acoustic sound source into a cabinet thinner than most digital pianos in its class.
About the Casio PX-S7000 Privia
The PX-S7000's Smart Scaled Hammer Action keyboard uses individually weighted keys across the register - heavier in the bass, lighter in the treble, mirroring an acoustic piano's actual hammer weight distribution - packed into a remarkably slim cabinet that defies the usual trade-off between authentic touch and compact size. Its multi-dimensional morphing AiR sound source samples an acoustic piano at multiple velocity layers and blends between them continuously rather than switching abruptly, aiming for the same dynamic nuance a real piano provides between soft and loud playing.
A smart audio system with a specially designed cabinet chamber lets Casio produce a genuinely rich stereo sound field from a body barely deeper than a keyboard stand shelf, a design achievement that lets the PX-S7000 work as a legitimate home instrument for space-constrained apartments without compromising on the touch and tone serious players expect from a top-tier digital piano.

Sound character of the Casio PX-S7000 Privia
Casio's flagship 'multi-dimensional morphing' AiR sound source blends multiple velocity-layered samples continuously rather than switching between fixed dynamic layers, giving a smoother, more nuanced tonal shift from soft to loud playing than the standard AiR engine in Casio's lower-tier models. The Smart Scaled Hammer Action keybed is tuned to match this more detailed dynamic range.
