Korg G1 Air

About the Korg G1 Air

The G1 Air's RH3 (Real Weighted Hammer Action 3) keyboard is the same graded hammer-action mechanism Korg uses across higher-tier instruments, giving a smaller, more affordable console piano genuine acoustic-like touch response rather than a simplified beginner action. Its stereo sampling captures a grand piano across multiple velocity layers for dynamic realism between soft and loud playing.

Bluetooth audio streaming lets a player route music directly from a smartphone or tablet through the instrument's own speakers - a practical feature for practicing along with backing tracks, lessons, or simply listening to music through a genuinely good piano-cabinet speaker system rather than a phone's tiny speaker, reflecting how home digital pianos have increasingly become multi-purpose media devices rather than purely standalone instruments.

Sound character of the Korg G1 Air

Pairs Korg's RH3 graded hammer action with a fairly conventional stereo piano sample set, giving a warm, straightforward home-piano tone without the layered dynamic morphing of higher-end instruments. Its console-sized cabinet and larger onboard speakers add more low-end body than Korg's slimmer C1 Air using the same action.
