Arturia AstroLab 37

About the Arturia AstroLab 37

The 37-key AstroLab shares its core V Collection and Analog Lab sound engine with its larger 61- and 88-key siblings, meaning a player doesn't sacrifice sound quality or patch access by choosing the smallest size - only the number of keys available at once. Its compact footprint makes it a genuinely practical choice for a secondary stage rig, a travel keyboard for a touring musician with limited case space, or a controller-plus-sound-source combination for a performer who values portability above all else.

This size variant demonstrates Arturia's approach of treating the AstroLab as a scalable platform rather than a single fixed product - the same laptop-free philosophy and sound engine, offered across multiple physical sizes so a player can match the instrument to their specific gigging needs.

Sound character of the Arturia AstroLab 37

Same V Collection sound engine as the larger AstroLab sizes, so tone again depends entirely on the loaded patch. What sets this 37-key version apart is its synth-action (unweighted) keybed, the lightest touch in the AstroLab line, prioritizing fast, low-resistance playability for travel and secondary-rig use over piano-like weight.
