A step-up trombone from Bach adding an F attachment to extend range and enable alternate positions, aimed at students moving beyond a straight beginner horn without yet needing a full professional Stradivarius.
About the Bach TB200B
The TB200B's standard rotor F attachment extends the trombone's low range and, just as importantly, gives a player alternate slide positions for passages that would otherwise require long, awkward slide movements - a genuine technical capability upgrade rather than just added range. Its yellow brass bell and dual-bore slide carry over Bach's tonal design intent from the student TB300 tier, scaled up with the added mechanism.
This step-up positioning matters because an F attachment introduces real technical complexity - a student needs the hand coordination and air support to use the rotor valve effectively - so Bach places it deliberately above its pure-student instruments rather than including it on every beginner trombone, reserving the added complexity for players who've already built basic slide technique.

Sound character of the Bach TB200B
Positioned between Bach's student and professional lines, the TB200B adds a standard rotor F attachment and a more refined dual-bore slide fit than the entry-level TB300, giving it a fuller, warmer tone and smoother slide action than a pure student horn while still being more affordable than the Stradivarius series.
