The same precision-molded ABS trombone as pBone's other color options, finished in a bright yellow aimed at young beginners who benefit from an instrument that feels approachable rather than intimidating.
About the pBone (Yellow)
Every pBone, regardless of color, uses the same tuned ABS plastic slide and bell geometry engineered to produce genuine trombone tone and intonation rather than a toy approximation - the yellow finish changes nothing about how the instrument plays or sounds. What it does change is how a young beginner feels about picking it up: a bright, cheerful color makes starting an instrument that can otherwise look large and intimidating feel more like fun than a chore.
The underlying practical advantages remain identical across the color range - light weight that makes proper playing position achievable for smaller children, and a plastic build that survives the drops and knocks an actual beginner will inevitably cause to a first instrument.

Sound character of the pBone (Yellow)
Like every pBone color, this yellow-finished model is molded from ABS plastic rather than brass, which damps the brighter upper harmonics a metal bell would produce and gives a smoother, slightly duller, more muted trombone tone; the finish is purely cosmetic.
