A near-flagship Bravo III with 37 keys and 96 bass buttons across 3 bass registers, adding the diminished-seventh chord row the 80-bass model omits for fuller jazz and classical chord vocabulary.
About the Hohner Bravo III 96
The Bravo III 96 uses the same 37-key treble side as the 80-bass model but expands the bass side to 96 buttons across 3 bass registers rather than 2, adding a diminished-seventh chord row to the fundamental, counter-bass, major, minor and dominant-seventh rows already present on the 80-bass instrument. That extra row matters specifically for jazz voicings and certain classical accordion repertoire that call for diminished harmony, uncommon in folk or pop playing but expected in more advanced study.
Reed configuration steps up to 3 voices with 7 registers and 5 tone colors on the treble side, a genuine increase in tonal palette over the smaller Bravo III models. It carries the same Silent Key mechanism, Soft Touch keyboard and improved bass mechanism as the rest of the range, positioned just below the full 120-bass flagship for players who want nearly complete harmonic access at somewhat lower weight and cost.

Sound character of the Hohner Bravo III 96
Its 3 bass registers and added diminished-seventh chord row (missing on the 80-bass model) give it fuller jazz and classical chord vocabulary, while 7 treble registers across 3 voices let it move between a thin single-reed sound and a fuller blended tone more flexibly than the smaller Bravo models.
