A mid-size chromatic piano accordion with 34 keys and 72 bass buttons, Hohner's Silent Key mechanism reducing key noise, and 5 treble registers over 4 voices for meaningful tonal variety at an entry-to-intermediate price.
About the Hohner Bravo III 72
The Bravo III 72 uses a piano-style keyboard with 34 keys spanning G to E, paired with 72 standard bass buttons across 2 bass registers - a mid-size configuration between Hohner's smaller Bravo II models and the full 120-bass professional instruments. Four treble voices with 5 selectable registers let a player switch between tonal colors (closer to a clarinet, an accordion-standard musette tremolo, or a fuller organ-like blend) rather than being locked to one fixed voice.
Hohner's Silent Key feature dampens the mechanical clack of the keyboard action, and a Soft Touch treble keyboard plus redesigned treble grille and improved bass mechanism are shared across the whole Bravo III range. It's built to be ergonomically shaped and lightweight relative to full 120-bass instruments, aimed at intermediate players who've outgrown a 48-bass beginner accordion but don't need the largest bass range.

Sound character of the Hohner Bravo III 72
As a chromatic piano accordion with 4 treble voices and 5 registers, it can blend or isolate reed ranks to shift from a thin, single-reed woodwind-like tone to a fuller multi-register sound. Hohner's Silent Key mechanism damps keybed noise, so more of what you hear is genuinely reed tone rather than mechanical clack.
