The smallest instrument in Hohner's Bravo family: a compact 26-key, 48-bass piano accordion at just 4.9 kg, aimed at children and small-framed beginners rather than full-range playing.
About the Hohner Bravo II 48
The Bravo II 48 scales the Bravo family's construction down to a genuinely small instrument: 26 piano keys (a reduced range compared to the 34-41 keys on Bravo III models) and 48 standard bass buttons, with 2 voices and 2 tonal colors selectable through 2 registers - far simpler than the multi-register Bravo III instruments, appropriate for a first accordion rather than an instrument meant to grow with an advancing player for years.
At 31 x 18.5 cm and 4.9 kg, it's sized and weighted for younger or smaller players who would struggle with a full-size 41-key, 120-bass accordion. It shares the Bravo family's T-keyboard mechanism for reliable action and ease of servicing, along with a redesigned keyboard mounting that keeps the piano keys notably quiet during play.

Sound character of the Hohner Bravo II 48
With only 2 reed voices and a compact 26-key treble side, this is built for a thinner, lighter tone by design - there's no register switch to thicken the sound, since the small format targets young beginners rather than tonal range. The reduced bellows/reed mass also means a quicker, less sustained response than full-size accordions.
