A professional baritone saxophone built around a one-piece, hand-hammered oversized bell specifically engineered to widen dynamic range and deepen the low end, finished with semi-precious stones on the key touches.
About the Cannonball B5-BICEB Stone Series
The Big Bell design is Cannonball's central engineering choice on this baritone - the bell, bow and neck are annealed and hand-hammered together, a labor-intensive process aimed at superior ring and resonance rather than a purely cosmetic oversized bell. That larger bell broadens the instrument's dynamic range and thickens its lower partials, giving a genuinely bigger, warmer low end than a standard-bell baritone provides.
The Stone Series designation refers to semi-precious stones set into the key touches and neck, a patented feature Cannonball states changes the instrument's resonance rather than being purely decorative. Two hand-customized necks - one matching the body finish, one a silver-plated 'FAT Neck' - ship with the horn, letting a player choose between a warmer blended tone and a brighter, more silver-forward projection depending on the setting.

Sound character of the Cannonball B5-BICEB Stone Series
The oversized, hand-hammered one-piece bell is engineered specifically to widen the baritone's dynamic range and deepen its low end, giving this horn an unusually big, powerful bottom register on top of the naturally dark, full timbre of the baritone voice.
