D Z Strad Viola Model 600

About the D Z Strad Viola Model 600

The Model 600 continues the same incremental quality progression found across D Z Strad's numbered instrument lines, applying slightly more careful tonewood selection and hand-finishing attention than the Model 500 while remaining short of the Model 700's refinement. This graduated tier system lets a violist or teacher pick a specific quality-to-price point within the handmade category rather than facing only widely spaced options.

As with the rest of D Z Strad's handmade viola range, the Model 600 is built by the brand's credited award-winning luthiers, meaning the fundamental handmade construction quality carries through consistently even as tonal refinement scales with model number.
