The smallest instrument in Hohner's Hohnica budget line: 25 keys and just 12 bass buttons, sized for absolute beginners and young children rather than students ready for a 48-bass instrument.
About the Hohner Hohnica 1303-RED
The 1303-RED is the entry point below the 1304-RED in Hohner's Hohnica range, with 25 piano keys spanning G to G and only 12 bass buttons - a genuinely simplified layout for a first-time player's earliest lessons, well short of the 48-bass 1304's range. Two sets of reeds keep the tone full despite the reduced scale, and the same improved key-action mechanism Hohner uses across its Hohnica line gives sturdier response than a toy-grade instrument.
At 13 lbs it's not dramatically lighter than the larger 1304-RED despite fewer keys and bass buttons, reflecting a similar cabinet size; the reduction is in playable range rather than physical bulk. It ships with a gig bag with backpack straps and accordion straps, in the same pearl red finish as the 1304, aimed squarely at children and complete beginners rather than adults seeking a compact travel instrument.

Sound character of the Hohner Hohnica 1303-RED
With just 12 bass buttons and a simple 2-set reed block, this smallest Hohnica instrument has the thinnest, lightest tone in the accordion family here - a deliberately minimal reed and bass system sized for absolute beginners' hands rather than tonal range or volume.
