About the Fender Limited Edition Vintera II Road Worn '60s Precision Bass
This limited edition takes the standard Vintera II '60s Precision Bass - slab-body-derived '60s-spec P Bass with a single split-coil pickup, rosewound rosewood fingerboard and period-correct headstock shape - and applies Fender's Road Worn relic treatment, simulating decades of finish wear, dulled hardware and a broken-in feel rather than shipping with a fresh gloss finish. The underlying instrument's construction and electronics are unchanged from the standard Vintera II '60s Precision Bass.
As a limited edition, it was offered in specific finish/hardware combinations not part of Fender's ongoing Vintera II catalog, aimed at players who want the relic aesthetic without commissioning custom aging work or paying Custom Shop prices.
