A gig-ready update of Gretsch's parlor format: sapele body in the same compact shape as the Jim Dandy, a walnut fingerboard and bridge, and a built-in Gretsch Deltoluxe magnetic soundhole pickup for plug-and-play amplification.
About the Gretsch Deltoluxe Parlor
The Deltoluxe Parlor shares its compact parlor body shape and vintage-inspired detailing with Gretsch's Jim Dandy line, but steps up the tonewood to sapele (semi-gloss finish, tortoiseshell binding) and adds onboard electronics as standard. Bracing is X-bracing rather than the Jim Dandy's simpler ladder pattern, aimed at a clearer, more balanced acoustic tone. The neck is nato in a "C" shape at the model's 24.75-inch scale, with a walnut fingerboard at a 12-inch radius, 20 frets (14 to the body) and a 1.69-inch synthetic bone nut.
The defining addition over the Jim Dandy is the Gretsch Deltoluxe magnetic soundhole pickup, giving genuinely plug-and-play amplification without an under-saddle piezo's often-thin tone. Hardware includes a walnut bridge with a compensated saddle and open-gear die-cast tuners, finished with the same period-correct pinstripe body purfling, oversized dot inlays and vintage pinned-bridge look that define Gretsch's small-body acoustic line.

Sound character of the Gretsch Deltoluxe Parlor
Like other Gretsch parlor models, the Deltoluxe's small body produces a boxy, midrange-focused acoustic voice with limited bass, prioritizing a bright, articulate blues/fingerstyle character over dreadnought-style volume and low end.

The history of the Gretsch Deltoluxe Parlor
Gretsch expanded its Jim Dandy parlor concept with the Deltoluxe line to offer the same compact, travel-friendly format with genuine stage-ready electronics built in, aimed at players who wanted the parlor's portability and vintage character without adding an aftermarket pickup.
