The first Alhambra classical to pair rosewood back and sides with an ebony fingerboard: solid cedar top, Spanish heel construction, and fan bracing, handmade in Spain.
About the Alhambra 4P Classical
The 4P was the first model in Alhambra's lineup to combine Indian rosewood back and sides with an ebony fingerboard, a step up in tonewood pairing that became one of the brand's best-selling combinations. The solid red Western cedar top receives four layers of light varnish intended to preserve resonance rather than dampen it with heavy finish, over Spanish fan bracing and traditional Spanish heel neck construction (the neck and upper block carved from one piece, glued directly to the top and sides rather than bolted or dovetailed).
The neck itself is samanguila, at the classical-standard 52mm nut width and 650mm scale with 18 frets. Nut and saddle are melamine, chosen by Alhambra for strong sound transmission, and tuning machines are gold-finished. The guitar is built entirely in Spain.

Sound character of the Alhambra 4P Classical
The solid red cedar top gives a warm, immediately responsive fundamental, and pairing it with Indian rosewood back and sides (rather than Alhambra's more common cypress or mahogany) adds rich overtone complexity and long sustain - Spanish fan bracing and traditional heel construction let the whole instrument breathe for a full, resonant classical tone.
