Fender's Telecaster-shaped counterpart to its Jazzmaster Uke: the same acoustic-electric concert ukulele electronics and construction in the single-cutaway Tele body outline instead.

About the Fender Fullerton Tele Uke

The Fullerton Tele Uke shares its core electronics and build approach with Fender's Jazzmaster Uke - a spruce top over mahogany body, 1-ply white binding, a no-tie bridge for guitar-style string changes, and a Fender-designed onboard preamp with volume, tone, tuner and low-battery indicator - but takes the shape of Fender's single-cutaway Telecaster rather than the offset Jazzmaster outline. The body silhouette is purely cosmetic; the underlying acoustic construction and electronics are shared across Fender's Fullerton line.

A maple neck carries a walnut fingerboard at a 15.04-inch scale with 19 frets and white dot inlays, a 1.38-inch synthetic bone nut, and sealed nickel tuning machines on a 4-in-line headstock. A tortoiseshell pickguard and walnut bridge round out the Tele-styled cosmetics, strung with Aquila Nylgut concert strings.

Sound character of the Fender Fullerton Tele Uke

Sharing its spruce-over-mahogany build and onboard preamp with Fender's Jazzmaster Uke, this produces the same bright-topped, warm-bodied concert tone - the Telecaster body outline is a cosmetic choice that doesn't change the underlying acoustic voice.

The history of the Fender Fullerton Tele Uke

Fender extended its Fullerton ukulele line across multiple guitar body shapes specifically to let players choose the visual identity they associate with - Telecaster versus Jazzmaster versus Stratocaster - while keeping the underlying acoustic-electric ukulele platform identical.
