About the Kremona Romida

The Romida uses a solid European spruce top over solid Indian rosewood back and sides, built to the classical-standard 650mm scale and 52mm nut width. The neck is Honduras cedar - lighter and more resonant than the mahogany typical on Spanish-built classicals - joined to an Indian ebony fingerboard, with an ebony bridge to match rather than the more common rosewood.

Appointments run above Kremona's entry range: a dual ebony overlay on the headstock front and back, birch body binding with rosewood purfling, a hand-inlaid wood rosette, and brass tuning machines with black accents rather than plain nickel or gold hardware. Nut and saddle are bone, and the guitar ships strung with Royal Classic Sonata strings in a Kremona hardshell case rather than a gig bag.

Sound character of the Kremona Romida

The solid European spruce top gives a bright, articulate attack while the solid Indian rosewood back and sides add rich overtone complexity and long sustain - a classic professional tonewood pairing, handmade in Bulgaria, that favors a full, resonant, concert-hall voice over the simpler tone of mahogany or laminate builds.
