A step up from the C10 Crossover: solid Canadian cedar top over solid African mahogany back and sides, the same slim 48mm-nut fusion neck for steel-string players, Spanish heel construction and 7-fan bracing.
About the Cordoba C9 Crossover
The C9 Crossover uses the same fusion-neck concept as Cordoba's C10 Crossover - a thin, hand-carved mahogany neck at a reduced 48mm nut width with a 16-inch fingerboard radius, aimed at players coming from steel-string or electric guitars who find a traditional 52mm flat classical neck unfamiliar - but pairs it with all-solid tonewoods rather than the C10's laminate-inclusive build: a solid Canadian cedar top over solid African mahogany back and sides.
Construction otherwise follows traditional Spanish practice: a Spanish heel neck joint (neck and upper block carved as one piece, glued rather than bolted) and a 7-fan bracing pattern under the top, at a body waist width of 248mm. The fingerboard is rosewood with an ebony bridge, 19 frets total with 12 to the body, nut and saddle in bone, and a two-way truss rod for adjustment - not found on traditional handmade classicals. It ships in a Cordoba polyfoam case.

Sound character of the Cordoba C9 Crossover
The solid Canadian cedar top responds quickly with a warm, dark fundamental, and pairing it with solid African mahogany back and sides keeps the overtones focused rather than complex - the same slim 48mm-nut fusion neck as the C10 makes this crossover-friendly for steel-string players while the 7-fan bracing keeps real acoustic resonance.
