A traditional Spanish-style classical guitar with a solid cedar top over mahogany back and sides: hand-inlaid rosette, fan bracing, and a full 52mm nut width for classical technique.
About the Cordoba C5 Classical Guitar
The C5 pairs a solid Canadian cedar top with mahogany back and sides - a lighter, brighter-toned pairing than the rosewood back/sides used on Cordoba's higher C7 model - built with Spanish-style fan bracing that lets the top vibrate more freely for a balanced, singing tone associated with traditional classical construction. The mahogany neck carries a rosewood fingerboard at the full classical 52mm nut width and 25.6-inch scale, with 19 frets (12 to the body).
Appointments include an all-wood inlaid rosette, rosewood binding, and a hand-carved headstock, with a two-way adjustable truss rod - not universal on classical guitars - and mother-of-pearl fret markers at the 5th, 7th and 9th positions. The bridge is Indian rosewood with bone nut and saddle, finished in high-gloss polyurethane.

Sound character of the Cordoba C5 Classical Guitar
The solid cedar top responds quickly with a warm, dark fundamental, and pairing it with mahogany back and sides (instead of rosewood) keeps the overtone profile simpler and more focused rather than shimmering - Spanish fan bracing and a full 52mm nut keep this voiced as a traditional classical-technique instrument.
