Availability: 9/10 (Common)
The entry-level tier of Fender's hybrid acoustic-electric Telecaster: a chambered nyatoh body with a solid spruce top, an under-saddle piezo blended with a ceramic Shawbucker pickup, and a simple volume/blend control instead of the pricier models' voice selector.
About the Fender Acoustasonic Standard Telecaster
The Acoustasonic Standard Telecaster carries the same fully chambered body concept as its Player and American siblings - a braced, resonant acoustic top over a mostly hollow body shaped like a Telecaster - but reaches its lower price point through simpler materials and electronics. The body pairs nyatoh back and sides with a solid spruce top, and the neck is nyatoh as well, with a rosewood fingerboard at a 12-inch radius and 22 medium jumbo frets.
Where the Player model uses a Noiseless single-coil and the American uses Fender's more elaborate N4 magnetic pickup with modeled body-style voicing, the Standard uses a single Shawbucker humbucker with ceramic magnets - brighter and punchier, but with less of the warmth found in the Alnico-equipped models above it. Rather than a five-way voicing switch, control is a simple master volume and blend knob between the piezo and magnetic pickups, a more straightforward setup aimed at players who want the Acoustasonic concept without its full complexity.

Sound character of the Fender Acoustasonic Standard Telecaster
As the entry-level Acoustasonic tier built in Indonesia, the Standard Telecaster uses simplified electronics and cheaper body materials than the Player and American tiers, giving a thinner, less nuanced acoustic voice unplugged; amplified, the Fishman system still blends a modeled acoustic tone with the Telecaster's single-coil bite via the mod knob, just with less refinement than the pricier versions.

The history of the Fender Acoustasonic Standard Telecaster
Fender's original Acoustasonic Telecaster launched in 2019 as a US-built instrument combining acoustic and electric tones through a sophisticated Fishman-designed "Acoustic Engine." The Player and Standard tiers followed to extend the concept to lower price points, with the Standard representing the most simplified version of the idea - fewer voicing options, less expensive tonewoods and electronics, but the same core chambered-body construction.
