The Jazzmaster-shaped entry in Fender's Standard-tier Acoustasonic line: a fully chambered nyatoh body with a solid Sitka spruce top, blending an under-saddle piezo with an Acoustasonic Shawbucker magnetic pickup via a simple volume/blend control.
About the Fender Acoustasonic Standard Jazzmaster
The Acoustasonic Standard Jazzmaster takes Fender's hybrid acoustic-electric concept - a resonant, braced acoustic top over a mostly hollow body, paired with electric-guitar-style playability - and applies it to the offset Jazzmaster outline rather than the Telecaster or Stratocaster shapes used elsewhere in the range. The body pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with nyatoh back and sides in a satin urethane finish, and the neck is nyatoh as well, carved to a Modern "Deep C" profile with a 12-inch-radius rosewood fingerboard and 22 medium jumbo frets.
Electronics combine an under-saddle piezo pickup for the acoustic voice with Fender's Acoustasonic Shawbucker magnetic pickup for an electric-leaning tone, blended through a simple master-volume-and-blend control rather than the multi-position voice selector used on the pricier American Acoustasonic models. The bridge is Fender's modern asymmetrical design, and hardware is finished in chrome throughout.

Sound character of the Fender Acoustasonic Standard Jazzmaster
Like other Acoustasonic models, the Standard Jazzmaster's compact hollow body is quiet and delicate unplugged, with its real tonal range coming from the onboard Fishman modeling that blends an acoustic voice with the Jazzmaster's offset-style magnetic pickup tone via the mod knob - a modern, hi-fi hybrid rather than a traditional flat-top sound.

The history of the Fender Acoustasonic Standard Jazzmaster
Fender introduced the Acoustasonic concept with the American-built original Acoustasonic Telecaster in 2019, aimed at blending acoustic and electric tones in one instrument without switching guitars mid-set. The Player and Standard tiers followed to bring the concept to more accessible price points, with the Standard Series using simpler electronics (piezo plus a single magnetic pickup, blended rather than voice-selected) and the Jazzmaster body option extending the line beyond its original Telecaster-only lineup.
