Availability: 2/10 (Very rare)
A flamenco guitar with a solid Canadian cedar top over Indian rosewood back and sides (fuller and darker than the standard F7's cypress body), a thinner, lighter body than a classical, and a clear tap plate for percussive playing.
About the Cordoba F7 Paco
Flamenco guitars are traditionally built with cypress back and sides for a bright, percussive attack; the F7 Paco instead uses Indian rosewood, giving it a fuller, darker tone closer to a classical guitar while keeping flamenco proportions - a slightly thinner body depth than a classical and noticeably lighter overall weight. The solid Canadian cedar top carries the flamenco tradition's characteristic clear plastic tap plate mounted below the soundhole, protecting the top from the golpe (percussive tapping) technique central to flamenco playing.
The neck is mahogany with a rosewood fingerboard at the classical-standard 650mm scale and 52mm nut width, with a two-way truss rod for adjustment - not found on traditional handmade flamenco guitars. Tuning machines are Der Jung units with a 14:1 ratio, and the body is bound in maple under a gloss polyurethane finish. It carries 19 frets, 12 to the body.

Sound character of the Cordoba F7 Paco
As a flamenco guitar rather than a classical, it's built thinner and lighter with a tap plate for percussive golpe technique and a naturally shorter sustain that lets fast rasgueado passages stay articulate - the solid Canadian cedar top over Indian rosewood back and sides is unusually dark and full for a flamenco build (most use lighter cypress), giving it more low-end weight than a traditional bright, percussive cypress flamenco guitar.

The history of the Cordoba F7 Paco
Cordoba named the F7 Paco after Paco de Lucia, the flamenco guitarist widely credited with modernizing the genre; the model's design draws on instruments associated with his career, positioned as Cordoba's step-up flamenco model above its cypress-bodied entry flamencos.
