A stage-ready hybrid from Cordoba's handmade Luthier series: solid European spruce top over solid Indian rosewood back and sides (the darker, bassier "Negra" pairing), a slimmer body and neck than a traditional classical, and a Fishman Prefix Pro Blend preamp mixing pickup and internal mic.
About the Cordoba GK Pro Negra
The GK Pro Negra belongs to Cordoba's Luthier series - its handmade, top-tier production tier, above the factory-built C and Fusion lines. "GK" refers to the model's crossover-flamenco design lineage, and "Negra" (Spanish for black/dark) refers to the Indian rosewood back and sides, which give it a darker, bassier tone than the "blanca" (cypress-backed) GK Pro; the top is solid European spruce.
Body depth, neck profile and nut width are all reduced from a traditional Spanish classical for playing comfort: a 648mm scale, 50mm nut, mahogany neck with dual-action truss rod and ebony fingerboard, growing from 21mm neck thickness at the first fret to 24mm at the ninth. A soft cutaway extends upper-fret access. Electronics are a Fishman Prefix Pro Blend system: an undersaddle piezo blended with an internal microphone, with bass/mid/treble controls, a notch filter for feedback, phase switch, and separate frequency/contour shaping for the mic and pickup signals. It ships in a Cordoba humidified archtop case.

Sound character of the Cordoba GK Pro Negra
The solid European spruce top keeps the attack defined and bright, while solid Indian rosewood back and sides - the darker, bassier 'Negra' pairing - add weight, complexity and sustain; the slimmer body and neck trim some of that resonance for stage comfort, and the Fishman Prefix Pro Blend mixes piezo and internal mic to carry more of the natural tone into the amplified signal.

The history of the Cordoba GK Pro Negra
The GK Pro Negra is built in Cordoba's Luthier series alongside its other handmade, non-factory instruments, aimed at touring and studio players who need a nylon-string guitar that performs reliably through a PA rather than purely in an unamplified recital setting.
