About the Kala KA-BMB-T

The KA-BMB-T applies Kala's all-bamboo construction - solid bamboo used for top, back, sides, neck and fingerboard alike rather than the more common single-accent-wood approach - to the larger tenor body size rather than the KA-BMB-C's concert scale. The bigger body and longer neck generally give tenor ukuleles a fuller, slightly lower-voiced tone than concert or soprano sizes, while the bamboo itself keeps the bright, sustained character the material is chosen for.

Hardware follows the same spec as Kala's other bamboo-body ukuleles: a slotted headstock, Graph Tech NuBone nut and saddle, and Aquila Super Nylgut strings as stock equipment, in a satin finish that shows the bamboo's natural fiber grain rather than obscuring it under heavy lacquer.
